How We Started
Kenya Health Chatbot began as a collaborative project between healthcare professionals, technology experts, and public health advocates who recognized the need for accessible health information in Kenya. The team observed that while mobile phone usage was widespread across the country, access to reliable health information remained limited, especially in rural areas.
Drawing on expertise in healthcare, artificial intelligence, and local knowledge, the team developed a solution that would work even in areas with limited connectivity, focusing on health issues most relevant to the Kenyan population.
